Anxiety, stress and depression are all common in our senior years as we face a number of on-going changes that occur in our bodies and environment. Meditation can help overcome these challenges, and is a very effective tool for mental, physical and emotional health. Virtual participants have really enjoyed these relaxation sessions in the comfort of their own homes.
Heather Kennedy, M.A., RCEP will come to your group to present and educate on a variety of health and wellness topics of interest. Popular topics of discussion include heart health, stress-management, diabetes, healthy sleep habits, weight loss and nutrition but specific requests are always considered.
All private sessions are designed and led by Heather Kennedy; a Masters Degreed Clinical Exercise Physiologist certified by the ACSM. Heather specializes in working with people with chronic medical conditions that require special training considerations, such as arthritis, chronic back pain, heart disease, obesity, osteoporosis, Parkinson, pulmonary disease and stroke. Heather supports a continuum of care concept and an open line of communication between trainer, client and physician. Individualized sessions are offered in the comfort and safety of your own home or virtually. Small group options (2-4 participants) also available.
